HIKING & NATURE TRAILS

HIKING & NATURE TRAILS
Walking is one of the most beautiful ways to truly discover a place.

From our agri-hostel nestled in the countryside and surrounded by woodland, several marked and mapped hiking trails begin right at our doorstep. These scenic paths lead you through rolling hills, small streams, and charming rural villages, where life still moves at a slower, more authentic pace.

Our location lies directly along the Via Romea Germanica, an ancient pilgrimage route connecting Northern Europe to Rome that has guided travelers and pilgrims for centuries.

Whether you are walking the historic pilgrimage trail or simply exploring the surrounding countryside, you can stop here for a genuine and relaxing break: a farm-to-table meal prepared with products from our farm; a comfortable bed in our rural hostel and the peaceful silence of the Italian countryside.

Our Trails & Walking Routes

Over the past few years, we have carefully mapped the trails surrounding our property, maintaining their signage and collecting useful information for travelers who want to explore the area on foot.

Some hiking routes start directly from our courtyard, while others can be reached within just a few minutes.

  • The Via Romea Germanica – a fascinating historic pilgrimage route that passes through our area, offering a unique opportunity to walk along one of Europe’s most important cultural and spiritual trails.
  • Rural Trails – walks of varying lengths suitable for everyone, winding through forests and open landscapes. These paths cross biodiverse agricultural areas and connect charming villages and small towns nearby, allowing visitors to discover the authentic rural landscape step by step.

Walk, Breathe, Discover

Whether you are a pilgrim, a hiker, or simply curious to explore, here you will find warm hospitality, updated maps, and personalized advice to help you enjoy the area at a slower pace.
After a day on the trail, you can relax in the garden, taste our farm products, or take part in activities at the farm.
Walking here is not just about sport: it’s a way to reconnect with the rhythm of nature and rediscover the pleasure of simple things.
